COMING OCTOBER 14, 2020...
MIKE AND KRISTIN BERRY, HOSTS
In 2015, with their blog Confessions Of An Adoptive Parent experiencing massive growth and reaching hundreds of thousands of foster and adoptive parents around the world, Mike and Kristin Berry sensed an urgency to expand their communication beyond the written word. Their heartbeat followed that of their blog- to reach as many parents as possible with a message of hope and camaraderie. Thus, The Honestly Speaking Parenting Podcast was born. In its first 2 years it reached more than 6,000 downloads a month. But something was missing. Something that hit a specific target they were aiming for. After much discussion, planning, and processing, the podcast name changed to The Honestly Adoption Podcast, in an effort to closer identify with foster and adoptive parents around the globe! The brand new podcast exists to be a real voice speaking real hope to parents on the foster and adoptive journey. To date the Honestly Adoption Podcast has upwards of 20,000 downloads a month from 30 different countries around the world. It continues to grow and bring hope to hundreds of thousands of foster and adoptive parents around the globe.
We know this parenting gig is hard...especially the foster, adoptive, or special needs parenting. Most of the time you're just trying to remember what you did 10 minutes ago, where you parked the car, or the last time you got a full night's sleep! It can leave you exhausted and completely spent. You wonder...is there any way through this? We believe there is.
That's why we wrote an easy-to-read eBook with easy-to-apply principles to help you beat exhaustion and find the rest you've been looking for. We call it, The Weary Parent's Guide To Escaping Exhaustion. It's yours for FREE when you sign up to receive updates on The Honestly Speaking Podcast!
The Honestly Adoption podcast is the absolute best podcast I have found regarding adoption and foster care. It is honest, it is raw, it is real. The Berrys aren't afraid to dive deeply into the immense trauma and tragedy of adoption, addressing some of our greatest flaws, pains, and the brokenness surrounding the adoption and foster care journey. They also aren't afraid to celebrate wins and count victories. They offer voices to all pieces of the adoption circle, which I believe is the only way to walk the journey of adoption well.

Are you tired? Rundown? Feel like you're doing it on your own? Then this podcast is for you! I'm an exhausted parent and I am so encouraged by this show. Thank you, Mike and Kristin, for being real and honest about the foster and adoptive journey!
This podcast is excellent! As a foster and adoptive parent I find the content here excellent and easy to apply to my own life.

As an adoptive grandmother and an adoptee person, there is no other source for education and support for adoptive and foster parents that I know of that is so right on. Mike and Kristin Berry don't just have head knowledge about this stuff. They live it everyday and every word they share with parents is pounded out on the anvils of their adoptive parent hearts. Thanks to both of them for this podcast and also for their tremendous organization- Confessions Of An Adoptive Parent.
